when i launch call of duty 4 with GT lite it says that the password is already in use or that punkbuster is disabled

Hello,
Have you tried launching COD4 into other servers? Did you disable punkbuster, then try to join a server that requires punkbuster? Are you able to join these servers when COD4 is not launched with GT Lite? |

thanks i tried an other server and it said i need version 1.7. i guess i have to download it

Yes, most of the servers are version 1.7. Upgrading to 1.7 will definitely help you get into more servers. Best of luck!

i've got an ither problem now. whenever i try to play a game punkbuster kicks me

Can you confirm whether or not this is caused by GT Lite? Find a server that kicks you for punkbuster, shut down GT Lite, restart COD4, then rejoin that server.

Update punkbuster manually, try to go to http://evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php.
