Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a new monitor for gaming... purchased the Asus 24" but was defective and had to send back. I also could use a HDTV at the same time. I have hooked up to HDTV in the past with short term use with laptop. Wish your opinion on just purchasing TV instead of monitor at this time. No, I don't need to watch the TV while gaming. I will use it as TV or computer monitor, but not needed at the same time. It will be a desktop computer with HDMI or DVI and latest graphics card. Just need info on using HDTV as monitor primarily for gaming.
Any one have issues using TV as long term monitor w/gaming like COD/BLKOPS?
