I just changed server IPs and as a result my server stats will not relocate to the new IP (something forum admin Burn has messaged in forums but when i messaged it Burn never included a link).
This promotes a few questions. First of all, why would I encourage any of my server players to rely on GameTracker if this can happen. Game servers often change IP addresses. I will probably start a new Gametracker set-up for my new IP address because I find it convenient to monitor stuff however I will never promote it as a reliable way to track player data to players. Does Gametracker even seek a player market or just server admins ? |

I have already made the suggestion to allow server owners change server ip/port but keep statistics, or move statistics to another ip/port, I was told it was possible but GT don't support it and will not in the near future.

I hope they have this option in the future as our Server Provider just upgraded Hardware and sent me back into the stoneage. I know it shouldnt matter, but Its really disappointing.
