Hi,

I was searching list of indian servers playing counter strike 1.6 and got a huge list with most of them been hosted at russia.

I will like gametracker to check and correct it.

yes varun u are 100% correct.

Gaametracker is gone to the dogs these days .Admins are not doing their work properly

Infact in the Indian section more than India serevrs there are non indian servers which are shown in the Indian column

Due to these nonsense our india servers are not getting sopt light.

Just see in the very 1st page what is the condition :

Out of 50 servers 23 servers are non India.

If u dont belive me see the physical location of these serevr ips,Non of them are indian hosted.

The list is long .

Admins pleae look into the matter and place these non india servers to their physical place.

Feel free to claim your servers and change the location flag if it is wrong. Sometimes server owners change the location flags themselves if GeoIP is wrong.

Unfortunately it is physically impossible for us to regularily check 140,000 servers to see if they are set at what GeoIP set for them, and we are not going to do so because GeoIP is not always correct.

Unfortunately Mr.Burn u a completely wrong.
I can prove it to you that all the above ips geo location is not from india.

I will prove it to you that all thsese above ips i have mentioned are
are all Non indian serevrs n geo location is also not in india .

If i prove it you you better leave Adminship in gametracker,an if i ma wrong i will quit gametracker .

If u r a man,be wise to accept my challange .

Hi Burn,

But i sincerely feel GeoIP location is much more accurate and letting a user change the flag is not good. He/She should raise a request to change location and then after u ppl getting it confirmed only should update it.

Again, if your server is incorrect, you are more than welcome to claim it and change the location flag. However, it is very unreasonable to force anyone to check 140,000 on a regular basis just to make sure that they set the location flag correctly. If you would have enough time to do that, great, however, I cannot spend half of the hours in a day doing this all the time.

Since GT has been running for over 5 years, we have found this to be the best route.
