I currently run a Synergy server with the IP 109.234.199.204:27015 which is a game server which runs the HL2 mod Synergy. However, on gametracker it has been classified as a "Half Life 1" server and when I went to check the server types, there was no Synergy.

Now I know there aren't that many Synergy servers, but from what I know it shouldn't be that hard to implement because you are already able to detect many other types of HL2 mods such as Insurgency and Zombie Panic Source.

Furthermore much like Insurgency and Zombie Panic Source, Synergy is officially supported on the Steam Store and available for download from there.

Well just read through the "Reasons we may not be able to add a game" section of that thread, and point 2 (<300 servers) may be an issue.

As far as I know (but I can't say for certain as I probably do not see all game servers for it in the server browser) there are around 40 game servers for it.

The only defence I guess for it is that point 2 noted that <300 servers "we will have no users willing to contribute to the map database or adding extra servers to our tracking database."

I think for Synergy it is possible to add most of the maps that the synergy community would ever play, seeing as how Synergy is all about Multiplayer Co-op of the Half Life 2 series.
