Ok, I was talked into adding my server to this site, I didn't really see a point at the time but I ended up using the site frequently to monitor the overall ranking of the server and for the player information.
Now I had to change hosts today which meant a change in IP, and there's no way to change the IP of the server which I fail to understand why, the server ranking itself isn't that important it's all the other information that is! http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/203.46.105.23:20450/ There's my server until it got moved and this was my choice for the record, it was ranked #1 in AU for bf3 servers, now the GUID is the same, it's with the same provider and the only thing to change is that the IP is now 203.46.105.21 port 20455. I think GT needs to rethink their policy on this, using "cheating" as a reason not to isn't an excuse, players don't visit the site, it's admins that use your service. |

Hi jasonpb,
Unfortunately there is not yet any feature to help in this situation. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. It is on the list of features to consider, but since it has only a low demand, it is not a high priority. ![]() |

Given the amount of threads about it I would say it's more in demand than you think...
You track on IP/Port and not GUID so it's possible for a user to purchase a new server from that RSP and obtain that IP/port, then register on here taking over the stats. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong but they can "claim" the server in exactly the same way I did. |

jasonpb wrote: Hi again, If the site has not automatically removed the server for being down and the IP is used for a new customer, they may need to claim the server and reset the stats themselves. If the previous owner chooses too, they can reset the stats or delete the server when they no longer use that IP, but that is something that is completely up to them. ![]() |

Hi,
I believe this should be a higher priority than it currently is! My Bc2 server was #1 in AU and #34 global http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/203.14.173.208:19567/ an IP change was out of my control as my host had no option but to do so. Having the option to transfer stats would be a massive asset for clan owners, I have a whole lot of pissed off regulars and admins who have been fighting for the #1 spot, is there a way to move this along or do we all band together and start a campaign to elevate the priority? Cheers Gumbeh |

I happen to be one of those very cranky members
![]() Worked days and nights competing with some of the fellow members, in a competition to reach number one spot. Managed to get there through a LOT of hard work, it was crazy. Easily 100 hours of game-time logged in competition with the others members. To have all of that lost due to Hypernia being a load of DURKKS is ridiculously frustrating. To note that you guys don't have a system to migrate scores from an old server, to a new one... It's just mind-bogglingly annoying. I mean, if even on the old servers page, you just changed the IP to match the new server... Wouldn't that do the same thing? It can't possibly be that hard??? Cheers... Here's hoping that much time was not lost.
