hello i have a problem i started a server of cs 1.6 and the ip is from another server that was shutdown ... i whant to know how can i change the name of the server.

This is typically done through the configuration file for the server. I am not sure what the default config file name is for CS, but you should be able to sift through your CS installation to find it. I would recommend contacting your game server provider for help finding it.

The default Counter-Strike 1.6 Server configuration file is called server.cfg, this file is located in a sub folder named cstrike. Like I have a server hosted at my home PC whose folder is C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer so the server.cfg file is located in C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer\cstrike.
The Variable for assigning the server's name is hostname. You can use it like this:

hostname "RaHBeR's CS 1.6 Server"
