I seem to be unable to create categories, delete posts etc for my clan [http://www.gametracker.com/clan/BGS31] despite the valiant attempts of the administrator. Even setting me as the System Administrator does nothing for permissions.
Also are we unable to Pin forum topics? |

Hello,
You'll have to contact the page owner as there are no features for giving admin permissions to any users other than the page owner at the current time. Could you please let me know the error message or what is happening for your team page owner? I have just tested making something a sticky and it is working fine for me. ![]() |

It's not that I was getting error messages. It was that I couldn't take an already posted post and sticky it. I figured a way around this by having them forward a private message to me the I will just copy and paste it then post as though I was the original poster, that way I can sticky it.

Hello,
The team page owner has always been the only person who can administrate the team page. There has never been a feature added to allow people who are not page owners to post news or administrate your clan forums at the current time. If anyone who was not the owner of the page could administrate it, this is a rather serious security issue. Please confirm if this was the case. Here is a guide for how to sticky new topics: 1) Go to the topic view, eg http://www.gametracker.com/clan/BGS31/forum.php?category=131429 2) Press new topic 3) Type in the post information and click the Stick radio button. Here is a guide for how to sticky or unsticky existing topics: 1) Go to the topic view, eg http://www.gametracker.com/clan/BGS31/forum.php?category=131429 2) Click edit in the topic row you want to sticky. 3) Under type, choose sticky. This has how it has been for quite a while now, so if you are not seeing this, please let us know. A screenshot would be helpful if this is the case. ![]() |
