i created a virtual server,and the problem is that when ever i restart my system my static ip changes (well its normal for static ip to change) and the server i have added on GT show dead as it should,so the problem here is that i need an ip that does not change so that when i restart my pc ,the members can again connect and play , plz help me out here.one solution that comes to me is to buy an open ip from my service provider but this is not a choice for me,

I believe to meant to say you have a dynamic IP. Static IP's are called static because they do not change, while dynamic addresses do.

The only solution would be to contact the Internet Service Provider to see if they can offer a static IP for you. Many charge for this though.

Otherwise, providers like www.gameservers.com give you a static IP with your game server.
