I just installed the latest version of gtlite and there seems to be a problem with the login process. It give me an error saying that the program is unable to connect to the gametracker service.

I've reinstalled it 3 times and the third time in a different directory. I've completely disabled my antivirus protection/firewall and it's still giving me the same problem.

I've also checked the services and gsingameservice is running. Weirdly it seems to keep running after the program is fully closed. That might be a sign of the bug.

Is there anything else I can do to try to make this work?

EDIT: I think I should mention that the only way I can uninstall the program is to manually stop the gs in-game service in task manager. It still thinks the program is open until the service has been stopped.
