I am not necessarily sure it would matter the location you have it in, as long as your command line args correctly point the server to it.

If you have no idea how to run a mumble/murmur server, I would recommend using Google to help find the answer https://www.google.com/search?q=set+up+a+murmur+server or find a host http://www.gameservers.com to run it for you

So here is my situation now I am about 10 hours into trying to get this to work. I paid money to Guild Portal to host a mumble server. The link send me to Game Tracker. I have the Mumble Server set up but my issue is the following...
In order to claim ownership of your server you must temporarily rename it to: GameTrackerClaimServer This server is currently named: Mumble Server Please check your game server config file, restart the server, and try again. I did this. I cannot connect. If the site admins here will not help me can anyone else help me out? Thanks |

Unfortunately GameTracker is not the technical support for game server hosts. You'll need to contact them for technical issues with the product you are receiving from them.
I just took one minute to do a quick Google search and found the following: https://www.google.com/search?q=change+name+on+murmur+server The first result is: http://mumble.sourceforge.net/Murmurguide From what I can see it tells you how to edit the murmur.ini file. Perhaps this will help you. ![]() |
