I own a PRIVATE server for 8 friends, I was recently yelled at by a childs mother that what we did on MY server was inappropriate for her 8 year old child. We are all over the age of 21 and have a private server as to avoid the kids so that we can not have to watch what we say and do. A few days after the mother yelled at me the kid was back on. I told them to leave and they pointed me to your site saying that my server was listed on a public site for anyone to use. I looked into the claim and found this.

I did not put this server on this site and claimed it in attempts to take it down. Since it was automatically added it will not let me. I have since added a white list but there are still ways around that list if people know how to do it and people have already been doing that. This server NEEDS to be take off of your site as I do not appreciate getting yelled at because some kid fakes a birthday on your site so he can get onto a server.

Where yes i think that this site is a very good idea, I would highly recommend letting people register their servers on their own. as to avoid any unnecessary getting cussed out and yelled at by parents in the future.

Unless you are doing is illegal, you are under no requirements to police your server in accordance to the mothers demands. It is her family's sole responsibility for ensuring material is appropriate, not hers. It is for this reason most games say "online experience may vary" or something along those lines. Please do not take offense to the parent's ignorance.

At the current time, there is no feature to delete servers that were automatically added by a trusted external source. We can permanently ban your server, but we only do that in cases abuse as it would never be able to be added again.
