Hi guys, I just want to know on how to host a garry's mod server from your servers.

I want to buy a 1 month server w/ 10 slots to play garry's mod w/ my steam group.
I have zero knowledge on how to setup a server nor running a dedicated server, but I can easily follow a thorough guide

Now that my introduction is over, here are my questions:

1) After buying your GT Bronze server, how can I setup a garry's mod server w/ prop hunt, mini golf and other gamemodes?

2) How can I switch games modes from the server

3) Can I switch to hosting "The Hidden" a HL2 mod? (I don't see half-life 2

4) What do I need to provide to my friends to join the server?

1. GT Premium does not support hosting Garry's Mod. It is not listed in the list of available games on the order / plan page.

2. Users who have GT premium packages have access to customize their server to do the types of things you mention (though not for Garry's Mod since it is not in the list).

3. HL2 DM is available in the list of games for hosting. You'll have to configure the server from there.

4. When you rent a server, it will be automatically added to GameTracker tracking and you'll have an IP address to connect.


Keep in mind that Premium packages are self-managed. This means that support will only assist with billing and technical issues (such as ftp is not working). If you are not experienced, we recommend ordering from www.gameservers.com

I guess we will just be borrowing a server. I kinda like the idea of GT premium ability to switch from a game that is being hosted.

Also I don't seen garry's mod being hosted on gamerservers.
