Hello,
Well i am a gamehoster in India. Now we have a domestic routing setup in our country which does not allow any international traffic to connect to us as routes aren't announced internationally. Now if we do so we get huge DDoS attacks which are impossible to mitigate in India due to much high costings.I have thought of solution and need to know whether it will be compatible with gametracker or not? I have 3 IPs Now.One is of my domestic routing which doesn't has any international access and its routes aren't announced globally.Lets say for example that IP is 103.243.19.2. Now i connect a dedicated normal internet line to my server which has total international access and everything is open on it.But in order to be DDoS Protected i would be hiding that IP behind a reverse proxy based system which would be DDoS Protected and would be mitigating traffic and would be forwarding clean traffic to me.Lets say it has a ip 202.238.20.5.The reverse proxy is located in US and is communicating to my server in India with the international line. Now i have a CS server. If i enter the IP 103.243.19.2:27015 which is the IP of my domestic setup would gametracker be able to scan it as its basically connected internationally.Or any solution to do that ? Help will be greatly appreciated. |

If querying that IP would return the result, as a typical scan would, then I don't see why it would not work. However, if there are any hoops the GT scanner would need to get around beyond the standard scan, it would not work.
