It's impossible to search for a thread like this as all of the results are "my server's ip is wrong" or something.
For some reason GameTracker thinks I'm located in France when I'm not. It used to be correct. Even when I change browsers it still uses the wrong location. I've tried deleting the cookie but that didn't help. How to fix? |

Where are you referring to?
If you are referring to a server, you can claim it and change the location flag. If you are referring to your profile flag, that is adjustable in your settings. ![]() |

No, NOT a server. When I'm browsing servers by distance, like 3000mi, it thinks I'm in a completely different location than I really am. I'm not a server, it's me browsing the site.

Thanks for describing your initial inquiry better.
Depending on the IP your ISP gives you it may think that you are in a different location than you actually are. In those cases, it's not typically too far off though. For instance, my location estimated by various websites is usually a few hours driving distance away from my actual location. Are you using any proxy, VPN, cellular, or satellite service that may greatly impact your IP? Have you tried visiting websites that will show your estimated location, like http://network-tools.com/ and various others? ![]() |

I'm not using any proxies and all other websites get my location correct. I'm also at a desktop so it's not like I move a lot or anything.
It USED to be correct but then it suddenly changed and won't change back. |
