So, we are in the process of establishing our servers and the first one to fire was TTT which default ports to 27015. NS2 uses the same join port. So we changed TTT's port to 27000 and its banner is reporting correctly, but the NS2 banner is reporting that its the original TTT server and dead.

Yes, when I add the server it forces it to be garry's mod.
