incorrect timezone in cookie

Hello,

having this problem since frequently using gametracker for a few months. The timezones set in the cookie from gametracker is always incorrect, the cookie says "America/New York" everytime, doesn't matter if I delete the cookie, the new one will have that timezone again. That's why it always shows me the times in EDT instead of GMT+1 which bothers me.

I am using chrome, I also tried it in incognito mode (all extension/cookies etc. disabled) and it does the same there (timezone set to EDT).

Thanks in advance.

Can you post the error message you are receiving when attempting to change your timezone on the following page?

http://www.gametracker.com/account/manage/edit.php

We'll need to know additional information to determine how the cookie is being set incorrectly - ie. if you've not actually changed your account time zone, or you have but it is not updating, etc.

I can't find the option to change the timezone there, if you're referencing to the "Country" option I set it to my country. I also changed it now to something differnt and back again to see if it does something, nothing.

Hmm, there may be a bug preventing some users from seeing that option. I will followup.

It seems that this feature is still in development and not available to everyone quite yet.

Ah ok. But it can not be the case that everyone has EDT as the timezone on gametracker, there must be something wrong either with my browser or I dont know what.

It's nothing you should be worried about. It's a feature that is partially implemented but not editable by everyone quite yet. You couldn't change your timezone on the website in the past so it's not really any different than GT has always been.

Please feel free to let me know if it is impeding your ability to use GameTracker and in what way.

Well it's not really impeding me to use gametracker, but for example I sometimes try to track when I was online etc. or when the lowest player count was on a server. Now everything is displayed in EDT and I have to calculate it 6hours plus.

It's not impeding me, it's simply annoying.

Same thing here. The cookie shows New York timezone and the issue seems to persist since few months already. ( It was just fine like 4-6 months ago) Hopefully it gets fixed.

Seems like it is partially fixed for me. The server banners show me the correct time zone (CEST) but stuff like "Last Seen" or the bar chart for player time/score is still the wrong time.
