Hi, I have installed GTLite and every time i click join on the website i get a message saying I must have GT Lite installed.
Really, i dont need this junk sowftare. I have installed and rebooted and still an issue.

When that message pops up, you want to click the "Join Game Server" link in it. You're also free to check "Don't show this message again." if you want to skip the popup.

You are correct - you are not under any obligation to use the software. However, many users find it as a useful utility to automatically join servers through GameTracker.com, as well as keep favorite servers right at their fingertips.
