Hi All,

Since free weekend went up for insurgency we had to bring up a total of 15 servers..
the firt 5 are claimed and we were wondering if there were a quicker process of getting the rest claimed.

https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/162.250.209.14:27015/

the rest have the same IP, but ports 9001-9010

thanks for the help!

There's not currently any feature to bulk claim servers. I'm not sure if there would be a good way to do so - we'd need to be able to prove you own the entire ip/box in a simple fashion.

One easy option would be to add a list of all of the IP addresses and ports and then present to the user a unique server name they should set their servers too, then when they have set all of their servers with that name they can proceed on the site and claim all of them in one go, assuming they all match the correct unique string in their server name. Easy.

The unique string prevents someone taking ownership of someone elses server, because the unique string identifies this particular person who is claiming ownership.

I'm not sure that would really address the OP's concern. The only thing that would change is you would save the amount of time it takes to click the claim server button, which would take a second or two for each server. I was assuming the OP was referring to the minute process to get the name changed and back.

Well if he has a lot of servers, can you imagine how long it would take? What I suggested would save a lot of time.

For 15 servers, not having to click the claim server button for each would save about 1 minute total. The clicking of the button is the shortest part of the process, but it would take a little longer to change the name which doesn't change in your suggestion.

Hmm... actually, now that I think about it, I can have all servers launch with the same config files (server names) but different ports. Must have not been thinking. Thank you all for the help!
