As I understand how gametracker works, users input their public server IPs into gametracker DB, and they can post gametracker blocks to track their game state on a website.
I have a similar situation, but wondering if this is possible to be done at a LAN party where the dedicated servers are NOT accessible via Internet? Does gametracker provide the ability to run a local instance of gametracker server code for local query and updates? Systems DO have access to the Internet, however they're not publicly accessible. Other examples of similar technologies include "GameQ" and "SQuery" that I've used in the past with PHP5-based websites for LAN game-server tracking. |
