A Europe based gaming community of experienced players centered around ArmedAssault 2, formerly known as MARSOC. Our mission statement is to provide a fun and realistic gaming experience focusing on teamwork, tactics and training (a little something we call the 3 T’s). We aim for simulated combat whilst still maintaining a fun and relaxed community.

What style of Arma do we play?
We strive to play structured games with each player assuming roles within a Fire Team. In one mission you are the key to a fireteam’s ability to overpower the enemy in the Automatic Rifleman role. The next mission you may be leading a Fire Team and ensuring their survival whilst accomplishing your mission. Every mission provides the opportunity for all players to experience the various roles of functioning virtual combat team.
We mainly play Cooperative missions but also explore the world player vs. player (PvP) with other communities when the opportunity arises.
The ACE mod is also central to our gameplay as it gives an improved level of realism over the vanilla ArmA2 that ships with the game.

How are we organised?
We have a weekly night that takes place on Sundays at 20:30 (GMT+1) in which Tier1 members are encouraged to attend as a sign of their commitment to the community. Additionally, we often have casual games each night which create a great opportunity to get to know your team members and practice as different Fire Team elements (including as a Fire Team Leader).
Every Tuesday night is training night and although training is not compulsory, it is a good way to practice skills you don’t use regularly during a mission and it also helps you learn new skills and tactics to enhance the gaming experience. Training also helps you earn “ribbons” which demonstrate your acquired skills and which eventually lead to higher levels of responsibility and specialised roles in missions (such as leading mission as Platoon Leader or playing as a sniper).
We have our own ArmA2 server and also use TeamSpeak 3 for communications.

Are there any minimum requirements to join?
We are more interested in how you perform as a community member than your skills as a virtual soldier. Because of this we are looking for people who also give back to the community. Your attitude is important. You don’t need any military knowledge or skills but do bring your willingness to listen and learn from experienced members of the community.
From a technical perspective you will need Arma2, Arma2 Operation Arrowhead, Skype and Teamspeak 3. More specific information on how to set these all up will be made available on application.

How do I join?
If you are looking for a milsim experience we probably aren’t the group for you. Our goal is not to recreate the experience of being in the army with drill instructors, latrine duty and being yelled at. We take our gaming seriously but also understand that it is about having fun primarily.
If you are looking for a fun experience that is grounded in a community of mature players that know how to behave appropriately then we have what you are looking for.
Ultimately it is all about having fun and that is our aim as well. Our community is built on trust, honor and respect. If you fit the bill …

Hell of Zargabad is a COOP hostage rescue mission.
There is a detailed ingame briefing available.
This mission is build in the 2D editor and merged with MCC, this allows players to tweak and adjust the mission "on the fly", however it is not necessary to do so.
Thx to Shayman and Spirit for creating the MCC, see link in readme for more info.

Available slots:
Infantry
3 SF teams each consisting of:
- Leader
- Automatic rifleman
- Radioman
- Saboteur
- Corpsman

1 Sniperteam (Spotter + Sniper)

4 pilots

To complete the mission you need at least 2 full SF teams and 2 pilots.
The number of players ranges from 12 to 22.

Readme file (included in rar file):

=======================================================================================
===========> ATTENTION !!! <===========

Before you start playing, make sure to at least designate a respawn location first.
If you don't do this players will respawn in the same location where they died.
The reason for this is because MCC was added to allow you to dynamically add/remove enemies and lots of other fancy stuff.

Hell of Zargabad
----------------
1. Required mods
2. Installation
3. How to designate a respawn location
4. How to disable respawn
5. MCC information and manual

1. Required mods
-------------
@ACE
@CBA
@ACRE

2. Installation
------------
Simply extract the pbo file to your ..\Arma2\MPmissions folder.

3. How to designate a respawn location
-----------------------------------
This is done by use of MCC and should only be done (once) by 1 player.

* Wait until you see "synchronizing done" in the upper right corner of your screen.
* Select "> Mission generator" in your action menu
* A dialog will open, at the bottom click on "Create Zone"
* Click anywhere on the map of the dialog (this simply logs you into MCC, and considers you to be the mission maker)
* Click "Start West" (button left of the mini-map)
* Click on the mini-map where you want all players to respawn
* Press Escape or click "Close"

Now everytime a player respawns, he will respawn at that location.

4. How to disable respawn
----------------------
This is done by use of MCC and should only be done (once) by the "mission maker" (see previous chapter).

ATTENTION: You can not disable respawn until you have designated a respawn location, see previous chapter on how to do that.

* Click "Disable respawn" in the MCC dialog
* Hit Escape or click "Close" and start playing

Players will now go into spectator mode when they die.
