Alright so I tried many solution and used a lot of time to get this working. Since the steam version doesnt work. It will simply not boot the game. So I read other solutions and they are correct by adding the game as retail, but I encountered a problem. This is how I made it work.

Step:

1. Go into edit>
2. > Server Setup
3. > Add Server
4. > Use gametracker to find an Arma 2 game ip
5. > Add Game: Arma 2 Operation ArrowHead Retail(Make in Game Setup>Add Game> Retail.
6. > Fill in the Server ip info
7. > Important: Apply and ok. Must do both
8. > Back to GT lite launcher and launch the server
9. > Arma 2 all the way.
10.> Cry of joy and celebration. GL soldier!

The issue here is steam version is not working. I´ve tried several times to use different version of GT Lite. I kept using the original Arma 2 original since other guides told to do so. But I tried the other one instead and it worked for me. Other guides are similar to this but I thank you it helped me a lot with this problem.
