Gametracker and gametracker light never worked and will never work for arma2 clients. Gametracker isn't under development and hasn't been for a looooong time. The join button, gametracker, this website, it works with some games but not for the Arma series, never has and never will.

Asking for a fix is asking in vein, there is no one to ask, no one is working on this relic. This is all here just to serve advertising.

Requesting that a game be added in future versions of GT lite...

https://www.gametracker.com/downloads/game_request.php

Advertising what exactly?

I'll let you know that GameTracker is mainly responsible for server tracking; player historical data, banners, data feeds and so on - and the GT lite client is also given some amount of prioritization.

The OP's issue may have been attributed to him attempting to join in-game servers that have their own connectivity issues.

Once you keep the game and Steam open, it should work.

For clarity the join button for Arma 2 is there and it does work...
