I would personally like to welcome you to one of the oldest military style gaming units on the internet. We started the unit quite a while back in a game titled "Battlefield Vietnam" and grew as we moved into the "Call of Duty" series and then moved on to the "Battlefield" franchise. Unfortunately as with many other gaming clans real world and other requirements saw the 949th disband. Always with the desire to see the unit return to its former status of over 200 members we have attempted to find a platform free of the usual hackers and the well know "running and gunning types". This turned out to be practically impossible until the third installment of the very popular ArmA series arrived. We are very excited about the capabilities and projected lifespan of ArmA 3 giving us the exact platform needed to revive the 949th which gives us the capability to provide our members with a fun but structured environment modeled closely after the United States military. The core staff includes veterans of different military branches with the experience and knowledge for this endeavor. Althhough most of our members will not have any military experience we have seen in the past how we have helped members decide whether or not they would prefer to pursue a military career. We are always pleased and honored to have other veterans and active duty service personnel come on board to help and/or enjoy our operations here at the 949th Wolves. So look around, ask questions and hopefully you will join us as we once again make the 949th a well known fixture in the gaming community.
