As promised - Battlefield Bad Company 2 has now been added to GT Lite! Simply re-run the GT Lite setup program, and your client will be updated with support for this game.

Thanks for adding it to the list now I have another problem, when i join à server its starts bfbc2 to THE menu but thats it, how do you get into the server....?

I was very excited when I saw this news but i got the same problem as rockin said.

Even if I login in the game first(and choose the soldier if you have more than one), then i still cannot connect to the server.
Unable to launch requested game as it is already running

Hope someone can help us out. The ingame browser really stinks.

You have to download and re-install GT-Lite and you should find the game in the games list, the problem is that if there is a server you want to join using GT-Lite it opens up the game no problem but just takes you to the main menu and not into the server you want to go to.......any idea how to fix this problem

From what I can see, there are no command line switches that can be used with the BFBC2Game executable (after a bit of Googling). You can see in the GT Lite program that a login function is not yet suppoerted. This is how the game is designed ATM and nothing to do with GT.

I guess we well need to wait until BC2 support logging in via a command line switch.

If I am wrong please let me know! I would love for this feature to work aswell, the ingame browser blows!

I hope someone does fix this as there is a server I want to join but is not showing up in the game server browser, I have the I.P address and name of server but it can't find when you search it in the game..:(

Hello again everyone,

The GT Lite update released yesterday added support for:

1. Detecting whether or not you have BC2 installed.
2. Launching BC2 from GT Lite.
3. Detecting whether or not you are playing BC2 (status updates).

Unfortunately at this time we don't support server joining or account logins with BC2. If we are able to add this feature in a future release, I will be sure to update this thread, along with the GT Lite release notes.

Whats the point adding bc2 in GT when its not possible to use it???
