The only think you can do is post on the official EA UK forums and request server join by command line.

Previous Battlefield games had this feature but they took it out for Bad Company 2.

I added it to the PC feedback section, log in and tell them you want this feature added to Bad Company 2.

Maybe they'll listen.

the more we come along with these games the more stupid we become. don't these people who make these games think of these things?. i have the same problem can't join a prefered server through G/T, wtf? another gripe i have with BF2 is no free for all, why not? the game is great but i get tired of playing teams all the time. also we need MODS.
