About Syndicate Seven-

Syndicate Seven (S7) was founded Oct 14th, 2006. We are a PC game team. We started in BF2142. Since then we have played in BF2, America's Army, GR:AW2, COD4, ArmA 1 & 2, R6 Vegas 1 & 2. COD5, and presently, Bad Company 2.
Our core team (about 5-6 of us) have been together most of this entire time. We have bonded well as a team and even more so as friends. When you enter S7, you will be entering into a brotherhood.
You will notice that we never refer to ourselves as a clan. That is not an accident. One of our members once said, "Clans are a dime a dozen." -- I agree.
We are serious about practice and our tactics. As this is where we learn, teach, and perfect squad tactics. Again, we use real military tactics. We do adjust them, but only as much as we must to make it fit the game.
We are friendly and fair. Our serious attitude toward practice and competition does not mean we don't have fun. We do, we just do so by getting attack/defense plans down pat and then smoking the crap out of the bad guys.

Syndicate Seven is NOT for everyone. You must possess the following attributes-
1- Tactical Love- As I said we are tactical. There seems to be a confusion as to what that means in the FPS community. When we say we are tactical we do not mean we are good players. (Although we are.) When we play tactically, we roll in squad, together, at the same target, tracking the same enemies.. Together. Five to six players, moving and acting as one. Each squaddie is a cog, and each cog has it's place. If a cog is broken, or out of place, the machine won't run.
2- Age- We have age limitations. S7 is an adult team. You must be at least 24 years old to apply. Sorry kids. We have tried several times to take in younger players to play along side with us. And no matter how much three preach about how active and dedicated they are.. They aren't. The point to an adult team is that we not only have no drama or nonsense, but also that we are well set in life's humdrum routine. So come 8pm, we are always at home with the wife and kids.. Ready to escape away into the game.
Side Note on Age: We have recently started to put together what we are calling S7 juniors. This is a place for current member's kids, and other kids to play. We provide a clean and safe channel on our ventrilo server that is designated for the people under age.
3- Team Player- As stated about being tactical; It only works if everyone does their part. So being a team player is very important. You have to be in it for the glory of all. Everyone has a part to play on our team. There are no heroes here. The squad wins and dies together. So, if you cant hang with the big dogs... Get the f#!k off the porch.
4- Motivation- You have to be ready and willing to practice, to compete and to win.
Laziness and apathy are not welcome on our team. If you are too tired to push some buttons, you should go straight to the doctor and find out what is wrong with you. Obviously, it is nothing short of a miracle you can still breathe.
5- Dedication- You must be dedicated to the team. We are more than a place to hang out. Or a cool name for you to sport. We are a team, we are brothers in arms. Be in for the long haul, or don’t join at all. There will be much time spent teaching you how we roll. The team will bend over backwards for you, you better do the same for the team. (FYI- "long haul" means life.)

So, by this point you are thinking either you may have finally found what you are looking for, or you have realized we are way too in depth for you. Be honest with yourself. If you know deep down that this style of team is not for you, then please do not apply. We are not screwing around and we will figure you out faster than you might think. Been there done that, if you know what I mean.
