Hi All,

I have been running two instances of BF1942 on each of my servers for many years but recently only the server programs running on Win7 are visible on GameTracker. Gametracker has been correctly monitoring these servers for many years. This is not a port issue. There are no port conflicts. One server runs in Win7 and the other runs on that same physical PC but within Windows XP mode. Only Windows 7 Pro has this feature. Has anyone else been having this problem? Did you find a solution? Please advise.

I presume your Win XP is running in a VM on Win 7?

Gametracker scanners would not care about the operating system of course.

This server HAS become visible again on GameTracker. No idea why.

I suggest tracking your connectivity via a network monitoring tool. I can't give any specific recommendations, it's not my area of expertise.
A google search for 'free network monitoring tools' should provide some options.

I had to add bf1942 in the MATCHING search box in GameTracker and this did the trick. If I remove the bf1942 from the MATCHING search box the server becomes invisible again on GameTracker. Very strange.
