SiMPLE will organize a knife tournament, which starts in 1st of December and sign-ups close in 30th of November. Tournament is open to everyone, you will need to have Battlefield 1942 v1.61 and PunkBuster installed. Check our Downloads page for required files.
It will be a double-elimination tournament. A double-elimination tournament is broken into two sets of brackets, generally called the winner's bracket (WB) and the loser's bracket (LB). Each player begins in the winner's bracket, but with one loss, goes into loser's bracket, in case of another defeat is out of the tournament. The winner of the winner's bracket will face the winner of the loser's bracket in a final match.
The winner of knife duels will be the first to reach 9 kills. Knife duels will be played in Stalingrad and Berlin maps, eventually other classic maps too. Each match will certainly last no more than 15 minutes and will be played at any day of the week at suitable times, which you and your opponent agree to. Every week it will be played 1 match, however between 23rd of December to 12th of January there will be no matches played, because of holiday season.
