Hello everyone

On Saturday I created this account here on the site and installed GT client.
I started playing BF2 normally until this morning. But now when I try to connect with my account it appears: "The server has refused the connection"

Can someone help me?

This may have nothing to do with the GT lite program; it's an issue with the server or your individual computer.

I can suggest that you see if there exists any issues with firewall or if the server is unreachable - trying 'pinging' the server.

But the firewall is disabled on my windows.
After installing the full BF2 and the updates, I downloaded the BF2.exe file from the battlelog.co site. Yesterday this site was off (try to access to see) and it was from this that it did not work anymore I guess.

Is there any patched BF2.exe here from gametracker.com ??
Can someone make this executable available for me to download? Any links?

GameTracker does not have download links for games - its solely responsible for server tracking etc.

I'm sure someone from the community may be able to provide a download link to the game if they know of a viable one or alternative.

Are you certain that the GT Lite Client may be causing this issue? You should try to run the game without GT lite and see if you're able to join servers without the mentioned error.

I uninstalled and installed the game three times. With the original BF2.exe (patch 1.5) it does not connect to any server. With BF2.exe (downloaded battlelog.co) it takes a while and it appears: "The server has refused the connection".

Remembering that everything worked perfectly until yesterday morning.

If you are talking about BF2 Revive, EA have closed them down

I installed BF2 on Saturday to play on the revive. But I found this site here (gametracker.com) and downloaded the GT Client. After installing, I started and logged in with this forum account and entered the multiplayer mode with all the servers here.

So I started playing with the GT Client. I played normally Saturday, Sunday and until yesterday morning. In the afternoon, started my problem and did not connect anymore.

I decided to come here to try to find a solution.

Finally solved the problem, but it was necessary to install files

I downloaded and installed the BF2hub client, created an account on the site and when I started the launcher I activated the function to find any available server (not only BF2hub). He found all the servers (the same as the GT Client).

I suspected that I needed some patch to insert a way to search the current servers outside of gamespy / EA.

Anyway now it's working.

Using Revive means you used their modified exe file, one of the things that EA objected to. After they closed the exe file no longer worked. By using BF2Hub you have reinstalled the original and now you should be good to go and play on any server you like.

I had the same problem because of the revive, I installed BF2Hub, I created an account and I entered without problem.
