Hi all. I just joined this Forum today. I'm from Australia. I decided to reinstall BF2 yesterday and when I tried to find the Internode Servers there were none. A few Gamearena Servers listed however it kept telling me I have the older Version of the game so I went and downloaded the latest Patch which was just over half a Gig.. This apparently should have rectified this issue but it did not. So I'm pinging way too high to play nearly all Servers and after dl this Game Tracker Lite ( dl today ) I still can't connect to any Australian Servers after clicking on the Server Links here? I'm new to this so perhaps I'm doing something wrong? I've tried logging onto BF2 first then opening up the Server Links on this Site but all it does is start up the BF2 Home Page. I'm running Windows XP Home Ed.. Please help if you can? Thanks very much!

ok i see you said something about you downloaded the latest patch and that it was half a gig. the latest patch is 1.5 which is way bigger than half a gig.

you need to install 1.41 first which you can find here: http://www.fileplanet.com/160777/160000/fileinfo/Battlefield-2-Patch-v1.41

then you need to download 1.5 which you can find here: http://www.fileplanet.com/204626/200000/fileinfo/Battlefield-2-Patch-v1.5

I recommend you download their download manager and use it.

After u dl the patches save it some where, when u re-set up ur PC u won't need to dl again ^__^

you need 1.4 full patch then 1.5 patch to get all servers thats what i did 6 days ago
