Hey guys,

I used to play BF 2 a lot a few years ago. Recently I started all over again, because it's one of the best games I ever played!
Wake Island absolutely is my favourite map!
But there's one thing that annoyes me very much!

If there are good pilots in the opposite team, you almost can't get from one flag to the other by car or tank, because they hit you with bombs and MG as soon as you leave your shelter. It's almost impossible to kill them as an infantry-unit, cause they are too fast and agile. And if the USMC enters the main-base, the problem even gets worse. Today I played and I got killed about 20 times by the same guy. The guy who killed me was a heli pilot and the best player on the server. He had about 150 points/ round. Is this fair?
I my opinion these vehicles are too strong AND annoy a lot!! Often I just leave the server after 1 or 2 rounds, if it gets too annoying. In my opinion it's just an unfair fight, cause you can't do a lot against a jet or a heli as an infantery-unit.


Wake Island would be such a good map without these annoying air attacks

What do you guys think about that?
Is it possible to start a server (Wake Island) without helis and jets?
Carriers are fine
