Hello guys,
I am writing this on behalf of my friend who doesn't speak English.

His name is Peng!! Fireball179 and since a few days ago his name here on the site displayes a 'Profile' next to it. I clicked on that and it says that someone called Lightforce500 has added him as his nickname.

Today something else has popped up, he is now recognised as a BOT..

So my question, what is going on here?

Is this Lightforce guy trying to damage his account or stats?

Can an admin please get in touch with me and let me know how to react to this.


Any help will be highly appreciated.

You can navigate to the user's profile and find the nickname and report it there. (There's a button next to the nickname.)

To be clear, we do not patrol player names on servers, and have no interest in doing so.

I can see no way in which your friend could be inconvenienced by someone creating and attaching a profile pointing to your friend's in game player name to their Gametracker user name.

This sort of thing is very often done by 1) new members experimenting; 2) people who wish to gain scores they have not earned against a profile player name that they do not actually play as.

Your friend is of course welcome to report it as suggested above but I could not personally say what the outcome would likely be, unless that the profile existed prior to this other person linking to it.
