I played Battlefield 2 for years with my friends. I’m new here and I never be able to run the game online on any server. Could anyone of you please write me step by step what should I do to run the game on any still functioning server? I’ll really appreciate any help.

What happens when you try to join a server?

Nothing because i can’t find any server...once i had a patch on the game ...i think 1.4 ...and, if i remember right i found some servers ...but i couldn’t join ...It didn’t want to let me in

The thing is ..if you have time, could you write me please, step by step, what should i do to run some server with this gametracker?

Well, to tell the truth, I don't really know. If you're saying you want to make your own server, you could buy one from gameservers.com or WYD or something...The only other thing with the finding servers thing I can think of would be to check the filters below the server list. It has stuff you can check and uncheck when looking for servers. Try to make the search as broad as possible, however keep in mind you can't join servers that have different versions as you. Good luck.

The reason for no servers showing is that you must download and install punkbuster. It is not on the bf2 game disc.
once this is done all the servers appear that correspond to your particular game patch. .ie 1.41 or 1.50
