Alright so I found out yesterday that people still play BF2, yay! My issue is this, I can install BF2 no problem and it runs fine with v1.0. If I dl any updates and install them, then the game no longer works. I've tried on both my laptop which is a Sony vaio vgn-fe660g and my newer but not new desktop which is a compaq presario sr5605f. I have the same problem with both and none of the patches fix the problem. Can anyone help me?

HMM,,,,wondering how long ago yesterday was?
but,,could be alot of things,like:
do you have a internet connection?
are you chosing single player instead of multy play?
could be the patches you downloaded.
are you trying to play a mod like AIX?

hope you get the prob fix.
