I just got my brand new comp and it has Windows 7 on it. I keep joining the server and getting kicked within a few seconds, getting the error message RESTRICTION: Service Communication Failure:PnkBstrA.exe. I've updated my punkbuster files numerous times, and also tried deleting them and re-installing them, but keep getting the same error. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! SomeONE must have a new comp that can help me resolve this issue so I can play with you guys again. Can't seem to get rid of the smiley face sticking out its tongue. The end of that is PnkBstrA.exe. Thanks to whichever kind soul can help me with this!!!

well first you have to go to www.evenbalance.com and go to download pbsvc.exe download save it then run it becuz there is 2 pkb its A and B i had the same issue and add me if you have x fire then tell me how it went.

Hey I had that problem a while back. Are you running it in compatability mode? Certain modes will upset punkbuster. I know you have to run it in compatability for some functions to work (like the ingame music).

I have found if you run it in windows 7, use Windows NT 4.0 (service pack 5) for compatability mode. Also run it as administrator. This will allow all features to work while allowing punkbuster to work.

Let me know if it works or if you need help running it in compatability mode.

I have a problem with Punkbuster too. When I try join in the server, a message appears "kiked from server" and say to go to evenbalance.com
I had downloaded the pbsvc.exe and run it, but the problem persists.
In the interface of pbsvc don't have BF Vietnam, only others BF
Can somebody help me? Thanks
