R[wc] Official Recruiting Policy
Effective: 20 FEB 2010

To ensure the quality of new recruits, the following policy is in place for ALL potential recruits.

***The only exceptions to the following rules are applicants that are direct family members of those in the clan and/or those who have been approved by an administrator to have the application processed.

If you are under the age of 18, you do not meet the initial requirements of a Rebels Without A Cause applicant.

HOWEVER, this does not mean you do not have a chance to be in the clan. The recruiting team asks that if you are under the age of 18, that you post that you want to join the clan inside of your introduction post.

You will be monitored longer than other applicants, so that we may be sure you meet our requirements of an applicant. Once the recruiting team has found you eligible to apply, you will be sent a PM on the forum notifying you that you may post an application.

The recruitment process is as follows:

- Potential recruit registers on the forums and posts an application.
- Potential recruit will log onto our Forum, Ventrilo and Server(s) frequently.

30 DAY WAITING PERIOD:

The date the initial application is posted will be the official start date for a 30 day waiting period.
During this period, the applicant will be required to remain active in the forums, servers, and Ventrilo.

- If the applicant will be absent within the 30 day waiting period, the applicant will be responsible to notify a recruiter and/or administrator to the absence in advance.
- If the applicant does not notify a recruiter and/or administrator, after an absence of 7 days the application will be declined.
- If the applicant has notified a recruiter and/or administrator of absence, the 30 day waiting period will start from the point it ended upon the applicants return.

CLAN VOTE:

After the waiting period has passed, an Admin will then post the application via the Private Member Forum for a clan vote.

- The vote will contain the following options: Yes, No, or Decline to Vote.
- The vote will then be given 72 hours (3 days) -OR- until administration has agreed to close the vote.
- After voting has ended, the present standings will determine pass or fail of membership.
- Membership status requires 2/3rd's (66%) or better "Yes" votes to be granted.
- The recruit will then be notified via email of membership status.

Recruits are not declined to apply a second time if they Fail a first vote, unless evidence is provided as to why the recruit should not be a part of the R[wc] gaming community.

There is a 2 week probationary period for all new members.
