SO WHAT DOES IT MEAN? I shit you not ( I - shē-ət - ˈyü, yə also yē - ˈnät ): English colloquialism used to express an honest statement, feeling, or event. A more prevalent equivalent being "I'm not kidding" Gaming Example: "OMG dude you are so hacking...look at that aimbot!" "Sorry sir I am not hacking at all, maybe you should suck less" "No, you are definitely hacking, admit it." "I shit you not, I am 100% legit, please stop putting your head in my cross-hair...k thx bye". OKAY SO YOU THINK YOUR CLEVER, WHAT DO YOU GUYS DO? Well...putting it simply...we play games and have fun. Perpetuating the notion that PC gaming is far from dead. In fact it is very much alive and if you put enough people together that know what they are doing, everyone can benefit. History IsYn was started by one PC gamer/IT Professional (Wooley) back in October of 2011. The main goal was to provide decent East Coast servers to support Modern Warfare 2 Dedicated servers (AIWnet). Something that the developers left out, but AlterIWnet put back into what was the best game of 2009. This became an instant success and it was discovered that most of the players on AlterIWnet were actually European. Wooley teamed up with one of his most loyal members (Deus Loki) to launch two International Modern Warfare 2 servers as well. Those two became very successful. As IsYn generated a larger following it became apparent that the need for more games was paramount. Soon after Source based games were launched to satisfy the needs of the community. WHAT HAPPENED TO ISYN? There was never a falling out of members or anything of that nature. It was just that Wooley had to move back in with family and that meant no more servers. The council members agreed to keep IsYn its own entity and not assimilate into another community. Sitting/playing/waiting for that time when Wooley could raise the servers back into action. Wooley started playing a lot of CTF HC recently for Black Ops and Black Ops II. He noticed that there was only a handful of CTF servers that were populated and some of them are full of azzhats with over the top rules and even meaner admins who kick without reason. @IsYn We don't have crazy rules about constantly escorting the flag or just sitting in your base waiting for someone to come in. We want to play the game as it was designed. We encourage completing the objectives, but at the same time we aren't going to kick you out if you want to just rack up some kills in the center of the map. After all what skill is involved in having your team sit by your flag and wait for the other team to drop by? I have personally played on servers like this, and while it does get intense some times, most of it is just sitting in a corner hiding and waiting and untold amounts of FF and blind nades. Anyway lets actually give out some community information: Website:www.IsYnGaming.com Server: https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/8.2.122.16:3074/ Voice: https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/64.237.62.226:9273/ We have a CTF event this evening 9/5/2014 @ 6PM EST Hope to see you there, -BB |
