Breakthrough is the best for me

Ok..check it out.

I run a "Spearhead" server. because there are more mods out there for that version. But, I play using Breakthrough. Because of the better graphics etc.

I was able to add all breakthrough maps, plus all customs made for AA, Spearhead, or Breakthrough.
I added all the Breakthrough weapons. Only problem I have found with this, is that if the player is actually playing with Spearhead...their weapon will just look stock. or be white because Spearhead didn't have that texture in the files. Other than that...I have found no problems running a Spearhead server and playing with breakthrough.

If you use Breakthrough weapons...and give your players a copy of the weapon file...plus add that file to the server...you will have no problems.

I have added Teleports, Planes, Jetpacks, Anti-gravity, Guided Rockets, etc. from all platforms of the game...and have had no problems with any of it except the ubersound file..which I updated and fixed that problem.

If you need help...rent a sever..and I'll come on there and guide you along. Spearhead is a easier game to find game hosts for...although there are a few hosts that will do Breakthrough. I just haven't found a reason to pay a higher price for the same I can get using Spearhead for the server.
