i have been playing cod4 mw on the local servers for quite some time now, but since they have closed down so i was wanting new server and thus i stumbled upon this website.

Now i have a 4Mb down and 2 Mb up connection. i wanted to ask will this be sufficient to run the hame without any lag

Yes your connection speed is fine, in fact 2mb upload is very good.

You can also reduce graphical options ingame to make yourself faster.

Be sure, that u have 4mb/s of download and > than 1mb/s upload.
If u want to play on the servers with high numbers of active users - make sure you have stabile ping less than 100).

Little green line = Bring it on! {lagometer}
average green line = Hurt me plenty! {lagometer}
more than 150 ping = Hardcore! {lagometer}
more than 200 ping = NIGHTMARE! {u can turn off lagometer - uninstall! uninstall!}

u need to set ur max ping to 250
and your minimum ping to 0
Rate 25000
Deticate it to internet
then just start it like that
once you go in ur server

type this into console (~) can be enabled in options
/cg_drawfps 1
/com_maxfps 0 = max 125 = solid 333 = extra solid recommended is 91
/set g_smoothclient 1
/set g_antilag 1
/set cg_maxpackets 30
/vid_restart
u and your server will run Great hope i solved ur problems
BUT if your joining servers you will have to get either better net or move closer to that server in that case u will just have to put up with what servers u can play in but i hope i helped ya
