There is a lot of trouble with the master server lately. If I restart my server, it takes 20 or 30 minutes before anyone can join. After the initial start up, it's fine. A rented server that's up 24/7 is fine after a 20 minute wait after set up or restart. If you are hosting a server from your home PC, start early.

Looks like Activision has the master server fixed now. It should be fine.

It appears this has happened again around the end of March, 2016. Does this mean it's done for good now?

I assume it's down for good,.. this really stinks! We can't play zombies any more either because of this. When one map is done and it switches to the next, it takes 20 min to be able to reconnect to the server. I am running ROTU v. 2.2.2.

It took nearly two months for a fix the last time. There may be some hope, but not much. I've suspected they were trying to kill this game. It remains more popular than the other COD's even though it's nearly 10 years old.
