I don't know why my server doesnt show up in-game server list. I added server to gametracker etc. and i add this masters in server.cfg

set sv_master1 "cod4master.activision.com"
set sv_master2 "cod4master.cod4x.me"
set sv_master3 "cod4master.eqgamers.com"
set sv_gamespy "1"

Just a thought, you have probably already confirmed this but;
Have you the same list of master servers in both your server and game client configs?

do i have to add master server in FTP server map? or what

I'm not a CoD player so I can only suppose that FTP is used for moving files on and off the server, not as part of the game.

If you have a server.cfg on the server, surely there must be some config file on your PC game?

Also, your server is not currently online.

Is this a rented server or are you running it from your PC? Maybe a firewall or router permission problem.

That's a fair question, but the server is registered on Gametracker and is back on line, assuming it wasn't a firewall issue making it appear to be down.

Is there not a client side config file that holds a list of master servers?
If there is a complete mismatch between the server and the client, that would explain not being able to see it.

It appears that others have found the server and played in the last 6-12 hours.

i have rented server, and yea they found it on gametracker.com server lists... but my server don't shows on ingame server list... i tried everything but nothig :S

Have you asked others who are playing how they found the server?

they said that on gametracker.com and not ingame serverlist

Apparently the issue lies with a file named servercache.dat on your PC.

I can not confirm this as I don't play CoD, but if you google the file name there are a number of suggestions and videos.
