Hello
Recently I set up the server and added it to gametracker.com but after a few days all the data on the server were removed the same server as well. I would like to ask why this happened. Maybe I should add something else or something else I do?
server: CoD_4 [Karlik] PolSl

PS sorry for the thread title that was in another language.

Hi,

Servers will be removed from the site if they are down for an extended period. If you experienced a lot of downtime, this may have been what happened. Otherwise, the only other way to delete the server is to manually do so. It could be that your account was compromised and it was removed or one of your other admins claimed it and removed it from the site.

True, there were only few players, but the server still grew rank. So I do not know why it was removed.

And again, the server has been deleted.

Hi,

I am sorry GameTracker removed your server again for extended downtime. You can avoid this by 1) keeping the server online 2) making sure the GameTracker firewall does not trigger any kind of anti-flood mechanism and get blocked and 3) ensure you have admins you trust not to delete it manually.

Hope this helps.

Hi
Thanks for your reply
1) I do not have the possibility to keep the server online all the time. Sometimes a break can last for weeks or longer.
2) As for this I am not sure, but it seems that everything is right.
3) ensures that the server will not soon be permanently closed, but if something will change, I will notify the administration.

Cheers

I have no words. Perhaps I can't have a server here.

Hi,

Like you said, if you keep the server offline "Sometimes a break can last for weeks or longer," it may be automatically removed from the system for extended downtime. Keeping the server online most of the time would be the best way to prevent automatic deletion.

try putting your computer on sleep when your server is on
or host it on another computer
