I just started playing cod4 about a week ago and when i try join most servers it says "Error You have been permanently banned from this server" And i have only played on 3-4 different servers.

Hi,
This can often be a problem if you downloaded the game illegally. If you obtained the game this way, try purchasing the game and trying again. If you used game hacks (cheats) like an aimbot, it may have detected and banned you from a punkbuster server. If it was streaming to somewhere like PBBans, you would be banned from all servers in that service.
