Hey guys,

everytime I enter my CoD4 Keycode it say's it's valid. But as soon as I try to connect to a Server, or restart the game, my Key-Code just disappears and I have to type it in again (the last 4 letters stay most of the time) I dont know what to do about it. I searched the Web, didn't find a similar Bug.

I had CoD4 installed on my "old"-PC, when I got a new one, I got all my data on an extern hard drive, of course CoD4 too. I just copied it onto my new Harddrive and my KeyCode was gone. I just bought a new one via an Online Keystore.
I would try to reinstall CoD4, but I don't have a CD of it near by.
And tbh my Internet Connection is so bad, I wont be able to download it within 4 Days.
I already cleared registry. But the Key in the registry fits to my new key.. kinda weird..

so yea.. I would appreciate any help!

hello everybody ,i had this problem for along time & finally i got it fixed finally . all you need to do :
1_is to run iw3mp.exe as administrator
2_enter the key again
3_then join your server and waste your time for many hours on this game . pls try to post a confirmation that it worked thanks

Hi there,

When you enter key code you should press ENTER and then VERIFY, i use to enter code in COD2 and COD4 and key code disappeared until i pressed ENTER and then VERIFY.
Sounds stupid but it solved my problem.
