Thanks to Crysis 1 Universe, the multiplayer lives on.
I had the pleasure of playing Crysis Multiplayer on a new network after Gamespy went offline. To my surprise it worked great and I realized how beautiful the maps were and how many new ones exist.. new game types too! There are almost 1000 registered players and if you look at the right time of the day there are servers with players and events are also planned regualrly. I found myself once again getting my rear beat in a fully active server. It would be a shame for such hard work to go to waste. I encourage any Crysis 1 owner to consider giving it a go.
