There are no a "best" map for improve ingame skills. First of all you can use every map but in default/classic mod after you die and kill some newbies you not improve anything. To imrpove your skills first of all must play deathmatch mod thats the best for improve skills if you wanna more and get better recoil you should play Deatchmatch+HS also known as Dm+HS.
