.my name is aiman..i need your help to make public server for cs...i want to play with my friends and other players not play with bots..can u help me with tell to me how to make it..i just know how to get my public ip.but i dont know how to make my port..plss tell me 1 by 1 ...srry for my bad eng..if u feels its difficult to tell me u can only just tell me where the web that u learn how to make cs server or whats the title..i hope i can make a server right now with your help..becoz i have try to make it 5 times but i failed..:(

Follow these steps to create a server:

Although creating server is a little bit difficult process, you have to get your ports forwarded and stuff.
i would suggest you join a server and ask your friends to join the same one to play together.

a 7/24 open pc not found at 21st century. try it and get burn pc. static ip not enaugh. need 7/24 open pc for hlds. try buy a hosting, or vps/vds.

But how to get it..one mote thing idk what is 7/24 openpc that u mean?..and for haaku daaku..imean i want to play with my friend with my own server..not other player server...i hope u understand...because i was play with my friends in many server but its very lag with high ping..so i got an idea to make my own server with can plays with many players in my country and others..i just dont understand how to get my own port..and how to create like other host create

It is apparent that you wish to host a server on your home PC.
This is almost always a bad idea.

1) you almost certainly do not have enough upload bandwidth for more than 1 or 2 players to join.
2) Players joining your server will have very high / unstable pings. Much worse than you have on other public servers.
3) it is highly insecure, especially as you have zero knowledge of networking
In other words you will likely be hacked or at least suffer random attacks of some kind
If you host on your home PC it could quickly be corrupted or unusable.


There are 3 public CS 1.6 servers in Malaysia.
I suggest you either use these, or find out what company is hosting them for the server owner, and contact them for information / pricing.

Well to create your own server,
1) you have to contact your dsl provider and ask him if yours ports are forwarded, if not ask them to foeward your ports.
2) Then you have to go to your counterstrike directory in your pc and rum "hlds", set your server as u want it to be.
3) open gametracker.com and sign in your account, then go to servers, then click on add server, put in the same settimgs as you did on hlds
4) check to see if gametracker approves your server, if it does your server will be uploaded
5) Ask your friends to join
6) play and enjoy
