Hi, I've tried many websites for fast dl, but many give errors or just dont work... Wanted to ask you what kind of website/hosting site do you use for fast dl? I really don't need a big one (1gb of space is more than enough) so the cheapest would be awesome... Thank you in advance!

I've tried a few free ones and all are terminated quite quickly..
1 gb space is quite large, are you wanting to host giant maps? (i've never really played CS before)

The issue with fastdl ones (From tf2's point of view) is the directory structure, you need to be able to create tf/maps subfolders and then point fastdl url location to that, but map files in tf2 are anywhere from 10-50 mb compressed.

So are you after space? or just a place to host map files..

Yeah, I mean as I looked for the hosting, they offer very large amounts of storage, 50gb,100's,but I really do not need that much. 300mb would be perfect lol. And I just need a place to host them, since there are a lot of files to download, many people don't even wait for it, so no players in the server

What sort of bandwidth would that take up per month?

I really have no idea, but I don't think it would be a lot. The server is new, not many people would join for now. I'd like to see if anyone would even want to play on it first

i can provide you free FDL if you provide resource.zip files having models, sprites, gfx, sounds, maps.

You can upload them in mega.nz and send me in PM. i will then send you the direct URL for your FDL. The only thing is when ever you update any things like models / maps or sounds the FDL also needs to be updated as well.

if its constant updating then i would suggest buy a small vps and enjoy fast updating using sftp . using a shared host does not gurenteed uptime or some times there are some hiccups . i never suggest any one use shared hosting for FDL . buy small vps and enjoy better uptime with fast updating.

Or if you still want shared host then go for https://bero-host.de/webhosting/prepaid-webspace-mieten they do provide support in discord / emails.

Please do not PM if its regular updating due to time constrant from my side i was just helping if it was like one time thing. but since you want regular i might not be able to provide every time.
