And finally, to be clear: the server is not banned. It is 'No Rank' (NR).
A ban means the server can not be registered on Gametracker.

In fact, the reason described would not result in a de-rank in any case.

Sorry for posting in this topic instead of creating a new one but I find the situation I am currently in kind of unfair.
My CS server was deranked(It was on rank 47 when it happened),I made an appeal and devs decided that the ban wasn't given correctly and reranked it but on position 9510 , you find this as a 2nd chance or what? I'd like to get my 47th rank back since I didn't break any term from ur TOS.

I doubt very much that the administrator told you your ban was 'a mistake'

What has happened is, you have made a request to rejoin the ranking system, and it has been granted.

When a request granted, you are returned to the rankings and are again able to earn rank position.

There is no suggestion that by being unbanned or being allowed to re-join the rankings that there was any 'mistake' on the part of the administrator issuing the ban or de-rank.

All reports are investigated by an administrator before a decision is made. Far more reports are ignored because of inaccuracy, untruth and their vexatious nature than de-ranks or bans that are issued.
If you were de-ranked, it is because the administrator believed that you were in violation of the rules at the time the investigation was done.

Finally: There is no way to restore rank. Even in the extreme case of a mistake having been made, it would not be possible.
Rank is earned not assigned.

I do get so tired of continuously repeating this to people.
